Road Trip.

Tomorrow we are taking Payton on her first overnight road trip and I can’t wait!!
We’re going to Dallas for a gender reveal party (can’t wait Mimi!!) and we figured it’d be easier to stay the night since it’s about a 4 hour drive. However, packing and being prepared for this one night get-away is the furthest thing from easy…

It literally takes and army to keep this girl alive. I started making a list 2 days ago of what I need to pack, and realized I might as well just bring the whole house because that’s what I’ll need. Luckily, if I forget something I can easily go out and buy it. I’m just praying she doesn’t have a meltdown in the car πŸ™πŸ½ (or at the party).
Luckily she’ll look cute…she FINALLY fits into some of her 0-3mos outfits!

I’m also hoping this will be a good prep for our first flight with Payton in Novemver for Thanksgiving. If only someone wrote a book on traveling with infants (if that exists, please let me know…even though every book I’ve read about babies has proven to not work for P).

If anyone has any first hand tips before tomorrow, please feel free to share! We’ll be in the car for 4+ hours and I can’t wait to let y’all know how it goes! Now…back to packing!

✌🏽️,
Brittany

  1. Haha, I love the top photo! Gotta remember the baby on the road trip! πŸ˜‰
My advice? Make lots of stops, full of cuddles and chances to stretch. Have a good time!

  2. When Vic was 8 months old we had trip from miami to Dallas 4 hours, connecting to Flight to Hawaii another 6 hours. I remember someone said to feed them juice or something to chew to keep ears from hurting on take off and landings. πŸ‘ΆπŸ»πŸ˜Š
